I named my artwork "Rafiki" which means "Friend" in Swahili.
This painting draws insipiration from the majestic mandrill known for the striking colours on the faces of adult males. Rafiki holds a special role as the royal Mjuzi of the Pride Lands, representing wisdom and tradition, serving as a spiritual guide and advisor to the pride.
This painting celebrates the unique beauty and importance of Rafiki in the circle of life.
